Beneficiaries: six (6) health centers within Barangay 176 of Caloocan City

RCSGP joined the synchronized polio vaccination kick off campaign on October 14, 2019, in response to the current Polio outbreak in the Philippines. The club participated in the campaign to vaccinate children 5 years old and below. The kick off in Caloocan City was in partnership with the Local Government Unit, Department of Health, and World Health Organization.

The club visited six (6) health centers within Barangay 176 to conduct the mass vaccination which was participated by almost 300 children on the kick off day. In addition, the club in partnership with the Macario B. Asistio Senior High School Interact Club and 3 Rotaract clubs ( RAC Millennial Sampaguita, RAC University of Caloocan City, and University of the East Caloocan) distributed flyers, installed tarpaulins to 6 health centers/ schools, and collected donations in support of the End Polio campaign.

RC Sampaguita Gracepark continued supporting the campaign in the succeeding months for more children to be vaccinated in the said area. Round 1 of the vaccination was from October 14 to 27, 2019 and Round 2 was conducted on November 25, 2019 to December 7, 2019.
