Beneficiaries: Grade 6 students of San Jose Elementary School

The Rotary Club of Sampaguita Grace Park's peacebuilding and conflict prevention project came to fruition through taekwondo training and anti-drug abuse talk to the Grade 6 students of its adopted San Jose Elementary School last January 17, 2023.
The anti-drug abuse talk was given by Retired General Roberto Fajardo, a fourth Dan Kummiwon black belt, instructor and international referee, and Project Director of PNP Taekwondo and member of the organizing committee of the Philippine Taekwondo Association, and the training was conducted by taekwondo instructors from the Philippine National Police who themselves are black belt referees accredited by the Philippine Taekwondo Association. The project aimed to impart the dangers brought about by drug abuse, and the knowledge and love of taekwondo as a form of self-defense against any abuse.
